What is it?

A program designed to set your puppy up for a lifetime of positive grooming experiences.

Puppy’s first grooms need to be fun and nurturing! With extra cuddles and kisses, WOOOF will work with your precious little creature to make sure they enjoy their very first salon visits, including:

• a one-on-one experience with a puppy specialist
• quiet spa room experience so they’re not overwhelmed by new noises and smells
• a warm ozone hydro-spa ritual to deep cleanse the skin and baby coat
• gentle and calming massage and conditioning using natural formulations and essential oils
• hand trimming to start with before they graduate to the big kids’ clipper when they’re ready

As always, we use WOOOF’s 100% own natural products. No toxic chemicals, fake whiteners, brighteners or synthetic fragrances. Only products that gently cleanse, nourish, and hydrate the skin and coat.

How does it work?

1st appointment: Meet & greet with first hydro spa bath

Once your puppy is fully vaccinated and has begun to socialise, they are safe to come into the salon. We schedule a Meet & Greet with a specialist groomer to help your puppy familiarise with the environment, noises and smells. We’ll also show you how to prepare your puppy to be groomed with simple tricks and tips. Then we invite you to go and have a coffee nearby while we introduce your puppy to the warm, gentle bubbles of the ozone hydro spa treatment.

2nd appointment: Hydro spa bath and tidy up

Your puppy will now be ready for their first tidy up. We will start the groom with another warm hydro spa bath, followed by a light scissoring to tidy the fringe, ears, paws, paw pads and the sanitary areas. We’ll also file the nails if you’re finding them a bit scratchy.

3rd appointment: Hydro spa and full groom

We’ll consult with you on the style you ultimately want to achieve. Once again we begin with a warm hydro spa treatment, followed by a full body clip. We’ll hand scissor the legs, face, paws, pads, ears, and file the nails if required. Every visit includes applying natural paw butter and a conditioning cologne mist.
