WOOOF named State Finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards

Four years ago, we set out to shake up an industry that hadn’t changed much in decades. Dog grooming was often seen as stressful for pets, transactional for owners, and limiting for staff — but we knew it could be so much more.

Since opening in 2021, WOOOF has redefined what grooming can be. From our calm, boutique-style salons and all-natural products to our detailed customer care and high standards for staff wellbeing, we’ve built a business around love, quality, and continuous improvement. Along the way, we’ve trained dozens of bathers and groomers and become Canberra’s busiest salon.

Now, we’re proud to share that WOOOF Dog Grooming has been named a State Finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards (Embracing Innovation). It’s recognition that innovation isn’t only about technology — it’s about rethinking every part of the customer and employee experience.

And the journey continues. This week, we opened our new Surry Hills salon in Sydney — bringing the same WOOOF experience to a whole new neighbourhood.
